Here at Esca we have 5 beautifully renovated en suite bedrooms right in the heart of the historic market town of Ross on Wye. Whether you are looking for a relaxing romantic getaway, a break to explore local walks & kayak down the river wye or visit local historic sites, Esca is the ideal place.
Breakfast is available in our restaurant for an additional cost. Please check out opening hours and days for availability. Dinner, drinks and nibbles are available on Saturday night from 5pm. All rooms have Hypnos beds and mattresses, towels, toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and charging points for phones/tablets. All rooms have baths with power showers over.

We have rooms that are dog friendly for well-behaved pooches, but reserve some for those with animal allergies.

We had a lovely lunch. Very tasty and freshly cooked. Good wine options. Felt very relaxed and welcoming. We were looked after really well. We will definitely be back. Heard that the sunday lunches are amazing.

Visited Esca for the first time last weekend to have lunch with a friend. Staff really helpful and friendly, tasteful setting, and - most importantly - the food was AMAZING!! Obviously all freshly prepared and super fresh. No ping meals here!! Had such a fabulous meal, desert and coffees that I booked again this weekend for a Sunday lunch with family to celebrate my dad’s 86th birthday. Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel the booking last minute due to my dad being taken unwell, but again they were so understanding and thoughtful even though I had to cancel without much notice. If you’re looking for somewhere that’s friendly, serves great food, and is amazingly reasonably priced for such quality, look no further! Esca it is! Xx

This was my second visit to this lovely restaurant. I had lunch with a friend. They serve beautifully presented quality food from a very interesting menu. There is plenty of choice to suit most dietary requirements. The facilities are excellent with attention to detail the staff are extremely pleasant. I am sure having an evening meal would be equally enjoyable. Such a great find
